Now this Jasmine tea is what i am talking about. VERY GOOD!

I can give honest rating of 5 stars because I have tried other Jasmine tea and this tea is far better quality then the others. My daughter and I had tea at Japanese Gardens. We just loved the jasmine flavor. Trying to duplicate it we were thinking that would be impossible! UNTIL we tried the jasmine tea from MORIMA TEA!! Beyond my expectations! The real thing. Love it.

The perfect tea

I bought this tea when I ran out of my usual brand. Now MORIMA TEA jasmine is my new favorite. The bouquet has a wonderful jasmine perfume that is deliciously delicate allowing the green tea flavor to come through nicely. A really delicious blend.

Excellent tea

Excellent tea - these are much larger balls than I expected or have had before - they're about the size of a shelled pistachio. I'm more used to BB size, but this size actually helps because clean-up is much easier.

This is excellent and comes close

I have tried, with no avail, to find a similar tasting product in the states. This is excellent and comes close. Fragrant, tasty and only a few leaves needed to steep in pot. Must buy for tea lovers.

Relaxing start to my morning

Love the aroma! This is my favorite variety. Very similar to the kind I used to get from Teavana.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly am I buying?
You are buying jasmine-scented Chinese tea, but the exact identity of a product marketed as “Jasmine Jade Snail” is not standardized. The name can refer to several related products, so the product page should establish: Chinese name: commonly Mo Li Yu Luo (茉莉玉螺) or another seller-specific name. Tea type: normally a green tea made from Camellia sinensis, rather than an herbal infusion. Form: tightly rolled or spiral-shaped leaves resembling a small snail, which explains “Jade Snail.” Ingredients: ideally tea leaves and jasmine flowers used during scenting, with the flowers subsequently removed. Tea base: the actual cultivar and growing region should be disclosed rather than hidden behind “Jade Snail.” Terminology: “Jade Snail,” “Jasmine Jade Snail King,” and similar terms should be treated primarily as commercial/grade names unless the seller provides specific grading criteria. So, “Jasmine Jade Snail” does not by itself guarantee a particular cultivar, harvest, grade, or production region. A strong listing should tell you exactly what the leaves are and how the jasmine character was produced.
Is the jasmine aroma natural, and will it taste balanced?
The strongest indicator of a traditional jasmine tea is fresh-flower scenting, rather than simply adding jasmine flavor. Traditional jasmine tea production generally involves repeatedly exposing finished tea leaves to fresh jasmine blossoms. The flowers impart their volatile aromatic compounds to the tea, after which the spent flowers are removed. Multiple scenting cycles can produce greater aromatic depth. A well-balanced Jasmine Jade Snail should allow both components to remain recognizable: jasmine should be prominent and sweet/floral, while the underlying green tea should retain freshness, vegetal character, sweetness, and some structure. “Strong fragrance” alone isn't a quality measure. An excessively perfume-like aroma can actually indicate an unbalanced product, while an overly grassy, bitter, or astringent cup can indicate that the tea base is overpowering the floral character.
Is this fresh, authentic, and worth its price?
The distinction between harvest date and packing date is particularly useful. A recently packed tea isn't necessarily recently harvested. For Jasmine Jade Snail, freshness matters because you're buying an aromatic tea. Even if the tea remains technically safe and drinkable, its volatile jasmine aroma can diminish with age, heat, moisture, oxygen, and light. Therefore, value shouldn't be judged solely by price per package. Compare price per 100 g plus provenance, harvest information, scenting method, leaf quality, and expected cup performance.
Can I brew it reliably and get more than one good cup?
Yes—but a useful product page should provide substantially more than “brew with hot water.” The brewing information you supplied gives a reasonable starting point: Starting recipe Tea-to-water ratio: approximately 1:50 Water: 90–100°C Steep: 3–5 minutes Expected infusions: 2–3 For example, 4 g of tea with 200 ml of water follows the 1:50 ratio. However, because jasmine-scented green teas can become bitter or overly astringent when aggressively brewed, I'd treat those figures as a starting range rather than a rigid prescription. If the first cup tastes too bitter or harsh: reduce the water temperature; shorten the infusion; use slightly less leaf; or increase the water volume. If it tastes weak: increase the leaf quantity; extend the infusion slightly; or use somewhat hotter water. The ability to get 2–3 worthwhile infusions is also useful when assessing value. A premium tea that produces a pleasant first cup but collapses immediately afterward offers a different value proposition from one that maintains aroma and sweetness through several brews.
Does it fit my routine, preferences, and dietary limits?
Jasmine Jade Snail is generally a caffeinated tea, assuming the base is ordinary green tea from Camellia sinensis. The jasmine flowers themselves aren't what provides the caffeine—the tea leaves do. That means it may suit someone looking for a fragrant alternative to plain green tea, but it shouldn't automatically be marketed as a caffeine-free evening beverage. For suitability, a good product description should therefore disclose: that it contains green tea/caffeine; the ingredients; whether additional flavorings are used; storage requirements; recommended freshness period after opening, if available. It should also avoid turning the tea into a “wellness” product through unsupported claims. The relevant selling proposition is primarily taste, aroma, craftsmanship, provenance, and brewing experience, not medical or therapeutic effects. For storage, the priorities are protecting the tea from air, moisture, heat, light, and strong odors. This is especially important for jasmine tea because aroma degradation can be noticeable before the tea becomes otherwise unsuitable to drink.
What makes Jasmine Jade Snail Spring Tea unique compared to other green teas?
Jasmine Jade Snail is distinguished by its silver snail-shaped leaves and delicate jasmine fragrance, offering an elegant appearance and a harmonious, aromatic flavor that enhances the green tea experience.
How should I brew Jasmine Jade Snail for the best flavor?
Use a transparent glass cup and add about 1 gram of tea per 50 ml of water. Pour boiling water at 80-85°C, and steep for 3-5 minutes. You can brew this tea 2-3 times for multiple infusions.
What are the ideal storage conditions for Jasmine Jade Snail tea?
Store Jasmine Jade Snail in a sealed, moisture-proof container in the refrigerator, protected from light to maintain its freshness and aromatic qualities.
Can Jasmine Jade Snail be enjoyed at any time of day?
Yes, its refreshing and light flavor makes Jasmine Jade Snail ideal for any time of day, especially during moments of relaxation or in warm weather.
What is the origin and harvest date of Jasmine Jade Snail?
This luxurious green tea is cultivated in Hengxian, Guangxi, using Yunnan Daye Big Leaves ancient tree buds, and is harvest-ready as of May 5, 2026.
