  • The refined artistry of Longjuan Tieguanyin oolong tea, also known as "Iron Goddess of Mercy," a semi-fermented tea with a captivating balance of body and flavor. This premium-grade oolong offers a sweet, floral taste with a lingering fragrance, perfect for tea enthusiasts seeking a blend that bridges the depth of black tea and the lightness of green tea.
  • The unique processing method defines Longjuan Tieguanyin character. The leaves are carefully bruised to initiate oxidation, creating a flavor profile that is robust yet delicate. The tea's semi-fermentation lends it a fuller body than green tea while retaining a smooth, nuanced finish without bitterness. Each cup reveals layers of flavor that evolve sip by sip, leaving behind a delightful floral aroma.
  • This Longjuan Tieguanyin tea bursts with all floral - lilac especially - notes in both the fragrance and the flavor. In the flavor, the thick creaminess of whipping cream, coconut milk and vanilla is balanced with a floral freshness which turns into a lasting fruity (peachy) - verdant taste in your mouth.

Really good - a LOT better than expected

Delicious! I will admit to being a tea snob, so I'm wary of bulk packs of the "good stuff." I'm happy to report that this tea is pleasing to all the senses, and makes delicious hot and cold tea. Even the packaging is better than expected.

Opens up to nice full size leaves.

Much better than several more expensive teas I have tried.
The secret to great tea is: bring the water to boiling, add about 1 tsp of tea leaves per cup.
The leaves should open up to full sized leaves. Stir.
For the least bitterness, only let the leaves in the water for up to about 1 minute.
Dump through a tea strainer.

Best Anxi Tieguanyin I've had in years.

Anxi Tieguanyin is the tea I drink every day. I've bought it from a lot of sources. This one is so good that once I made the first brew, I immediately ordered a second package. There are other tea sources selling for a bit less money, but I'm sticking with this one.

Good Flavor & Aroma

5 stars of 5 — would likely purchase again
I ended up really liking this brand of Oolong. As a Tie Guan Yin... it's okay, but then it's also relatively inexpensive compared to premium sources. As a light, aromatic oolong, it's great. It has a nice milky flavor, with just a hint of smoke and it's not bitter, in the way that more oxidized oolongs can be.
