  • Tieguanyin from Anxi, Fujian, belongs to the category of oolong tea. Tieguanyin is both the name of the tea and the name of the tea tree variety. It is between green tea and black tea and is a semi-fermented tea. Tieguanyin has a unique "Guanyin rhyme", with a refreshing and elegant fragrance. After brewing, it has a natural orchid fragrance and is known for its "lingering fragrance after seven brews".
  • Gande Town is located in the northwest of Anxi County, with a subtropical monsoon climate, an average altitude of more than 600 meters, an average annual temperature of 18-21℃, abundant rainfall, fertile soil and rich in minerals. This unique alpine environment (sweet springs, red soil, and many mountain springs) provides unique conditions for the growth of Gande Tieguanyin, making its tea richer in substances, and its aroma and taste better than other production areas.
  • This tea from Gande village was harvested with special care and was hand-processed at all stages. This tea is lightly roasted which allows the original, verdant, floral flavors of Tie Guan Yin (Iron Goddess of Mercy) to unfold beautifully.
  • The production craftsmanship of Gande Tieguanyin is really exquisite! The production of tea requires multiple processes such as sun drying, cooling, making green, frying, rolling, initial baking, initial wrapping and rolling, re-baking, re-wrapping and rolling, shaping and slow fire drying. These innovative practices ensure the quality of the tea, and the tea soup presents a unique "mung bean soup" color, which belongs to the fragrant Tieguanyin. Each process requires the concentration and patience of the tea master to produce such excellent tea. The inheritance of this kind of handcraft is really admirable.
  • This Gande Tie Guan Yin is a charmer. Sweet and intense like a flower garden in spring. The floral notes prevail but are smoothened out with a gentle creaminess. The tea steams vanilla, sweet and dreamy. The cup stays nectary sweet for a long time after drinking the tea. The silky-buttery liquor is coating the mouth, leaving a fruity - peachy aftertaste.
  • Oolong Spring Gande Tieguanyin Tea Appearance: dragonfly head, frog legs, spiral body, round. Its aroma is strong, no matter smelling the lid cup, or entering the soup, or even when brewing and uncovering the lid, its fragrance is so strong that it can almost overflow the room, making people eager to try it. The color of the soup is relatively light, especially for the first and second brews; after the third brew, the color of the soup is yellow-green, and it is clear and mellow. Leaf base: thick, not easy to expand, indicating resistance to foaming. The fragrant leaves are earthy yellow at the bottom.
  • Drinking tea is a way of life and a way to relax your soul. Gande Tieguanyin uses its unique aroma and taste to make every tea drinking a pleasant experience. 🌿🍃
  • Brewing Recommendations:
For the best results, brew this Tie Guan Yin with water at 100°C (212°F). Use one 7.8-gram packet per 110 ml of water. Steep for 10–20 seconds for the first infusion, and gradually increase the time for subsequent brews. This tea can be steeped multiple times, with each infusion revealing deeper layers of its roasted character.
