The best-known Pu-erh regions in Yunnan include Xishuangbanna, Pu'er City, and Lincang, with famous mountain areas such as Yiwu, Jingmai, Bulang, Menghai, and others offering distinctive combinations of aroma, bitterness, sweetness, texture, and aging character. There is no single "best" region for every drinker.
