Gongfu tea requires skillful brewing, and when savoured carefully in a small cup, one can savor the tea's profound charm. Yuan Mei from the Qing Dynasty is known as the first person to write about the Gongfu tea brewing method for Wuyi Rock Tea. Although Yuan Mei did not directly mention the term "Gongfu tea" in his writings, his descriptions reveal its essence.
