Finely made and very low priced

Very beautifully made, just the right size to produce the best-tasting tea, and we are quite exacting about that in our house. The price is way lower than I would expect to pay for a good ceramic piece like this one.

This is a nice enough pot.

I just used it right after taking this photo and it made a nice jasmine green tea. The problem is that the interior of this pot is not glazed. As such, it will wind up being a one-tea pot like my other unglazed pots. I had meant for this to replace a fully glazed one that I accidentally cracked against the sink, but the flavor of jasmine does not belong in my oolong. Nor the flavor of mint in any of my other teas. Etc.
