- Milky Oolong comes from a high-elevation garden. Hand-gathered in May, this spring crop has a bright floral character with an undercurrent of rich buttercream and peaches. Nowadays, the majority of teas sold as "milk oolong" are actually artificial blends, produced by spraying cheaper cultivars with artificial "milk" flavoring chemicals. On the other hand, our Jin Xuan is a pure tea (tea leaves only, with no additional ingredients); its milky taste is the natural flavor profile of the Jin Xuan cultivar.
- This light-bodied oolong is delightfully smooth and creamy, with deep green rolled leaves that unfurl to reveal a soft, pale green liquor. The aroma is warm and inviting, reminiscent of gently steamed milk. With every sip, you’ll taste the natural sweetness of warmed milk and fresh cream—a hallmark of this beloved style of oolong, which is oh so popular across Eastern Asia. Comforting and easy to drink, Milky Oolong offers a silky, mellow experience from the first sip to the last.
- The reason why the taste is so unique is not only the variety of Jinxuan tea, but also the low-temperature charcoal roasting process.
Through "low temperature and slow roasting", the polyphenols inside the tea leaves are gently transformed, generating rich aroma precursor substances, such as volatile aroma compounds and amino acids. These substances are gradually released during the roasting process, forming the unique milky oolong characteristics of "rich milky aroma at the front and long floral aroma at the back". - Soybean Milk Irrigation Technology: Soybeans are rich in more than 40 kinds of plant-based high arginine. "Soybean milk" made by fermentation with beneficial bacteria, brown sugar, etc. is diluted and led to various places in the tea mountain through sprinkler irrigation facilities. Then the soy milk is manually irrigated to the roots of tea trees. It is irrigated nearly 10 times a year, which can fully decompose organic matter and provide tea trees with plant-based high arginine that is easy to absorb.
- After being watered with "soy milk", tea trees are less likely to get sick and their leaves will become fatter. At the same time, the milky oolong tea produced has a more pronounced taste and milky aroma. People who are attentive can feel that the rich tea aroma also contains a light soybean fragrance.
- This milky oolong tea has a mellow taste and is full of the unique flavor of beans and oolong. Every bite is the result of unique craftsmanship, leaving people with an endless aftertaste.
