Jin Jun Mei Spring Tea

All that one could expect from a JinJunMei. Has only a tiny bit of sweetness, but still very likable.

I prepared it in my new Gaiwans to test them.

Jin Jun Mei's from Tong Mu are always a warranty of taste and aroma.

The tea came in a paper bag sealed like a Zip-Lock bag with a transparent side to see the type of tea. The picking is very neat, no loose branches or tea dust.

Strong roasted chocolate / toffee caramel aromatics.

Medium brown color liquor for a Hong Cha!.

Chocolaty / sweet potato / caramel taste, easy drinking delicious tea, definitely my favorite Hong Cha, strong delicious aromatics.

You can get at least 9 good infusions with Gong Fu Cha technique, I recommend preparing it with 3 grams per 100 ml at 90C, starting with 10 seconds infusion and then adding 5 extra seconds per new infusion until you reach 50 seconds.

A tea worth re-purchasing.

I got this as a sample put in with an order three times, and each time it’s been a wondeful jin jun mei a wonderful clear taste. Notes of sweet potato, chocolate, and oak bark are all present. The dry leaf presents a fresh, vanilla-like aroma that captivates upon opening.
